REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE: Your bike maintenance consultation will always begin with a free estimate of the work that will be required (or maybe just desired). I will discuss the necessary repairs and/or upgrades with you and talk over any options while taking into consideration your opinions and budget.

FITTINGS: I subscribe to the Serotta bike fit methodology. This method is a completely personalized approach. Fittings are by appointment and last about 1-1/2 to 2 hrs. Taking a holistic view of bicycle fit, I will make adjustments to your bike so that it best fits you and helps you achieve your cycling goals. Although I am able to fit all bikes, road and triathlon riders will realize the biggest benefit. After your fitting is complete, I will send you your fitting details as well as a listing of my recommendations. Please contact me to get additional details or to make an appointment.

CUSTOM WHEELS: One of my favorite things to do is build custom wheels. I have over 14 years of experience building wheels. Nothing beats the ride quality of a set of precision hand built wheels. Custom wheels also allow you the option of choosing colors, and specific component versus pre-built wheels which come as they are. I have formed close relationships with wheel component manufacturers like; Chris King, White Industries, Velocity, DT Swiss, I9, Campagnolo and Shimano. With products offered by these companies and others, I can build a wheel to suit almost any need.

MOBILE SERVICE AND HOUSE CALLS: Not able to make it to the shop and you need a quick repair? You should take advantage of my mobile service. House calls are available by appointment if shop drop-off or pick-up and delivery service is not the most convenient way for you to experience what The Cycle Surgeon has to offer. Not all services, such as overhauls, are available for on-site repair. Additional fees may apply based on distance from my shop.

EXPEDITED TURNAROUND: Are you a racer with an immediate need? Is your cycling group depending on you for a ride and your bike is broken? If so, ask me about expedited emergency repair services. Additional fees may apply

ON SITE FITTINGS: Is it more convenient for me to come to you than you to come to me? Make an appointment with me to perform your fitting at an agreed upon location (i.e. work or home).
